Adding Aaron Paul Lazar

I recently discovered the delightful writing of Aaron Paul Lazar. He writes cozy mysteries, and also some romance. If you are looking for a satisfying story line, interesting characters, and plots with lots of complexity that don't take weeks to read, these are perfect.

Aaron lives in Upstate New York, original home territory for me, and many of his stories are placed in familiar landscapes. He began writing as a way to recover from a series of personal losses, and never stopped. His author blog is at aaronlazar.blogspot.com, and his official web site is lazarbooks.com

He and I became acquainted through a "blog party," and it seems as if we've known each other forever. We have many things in common.

Adding James Viscosi

Today, I've added James Viscosi, writer of fantasy, horror, sci-fi, and mysteries. Some may know him better as the spinner of tales about Dennis the Vizsla.

I hope to read one of his mysteries soon, and I just discovered that he maintains an author blog called James Viscosi's Scribblings

Adding Cathy MacKenzie

Today, I am adding Cathy MacKenzie. Cathy enjoys writing poems, short stories and essays, some of which have won contests. Along with more short stories and essays (and the occasional poetry, when she is properly inspired), she hopes to complete the three novels she has started, but perhaps they will become novellas instead.

Cathy also paints, pastels being her favourite medium and her grandchildren her favourite subjects. Cathy lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with her husband, and they winter in Ajijic, Mexico, where several of her works have appeared in local publications.

Launching a Blog Feed to Help Authors

With the slowly building success of a feed-type blog for Nature Bloggers, I've decided to launch a similar forum for aspiring and under-recognized authors. The choice of who is included is totally my personal choice. If you are an author and want to be included, please visit Shark Bytes and Tales, or join the Accentuate Writers Forum, or find some other way to get to know me.

All blogs fed here, even if you know me, must be "safe for work" in terms of content.
